Mr Tim Pauls Tim Pauls - The Director Of Communication (Germany) & Director of YGRO GHANA
I got in touch with YLF during my stay in Ghana from April until July 2008. Originally coming to this country through another NGO I coincidentally got in contact with Gilbert Germain. Immediately I was impressed by the genuine spirit prevailing within this organization and the one hundred percent commitment of the whole staff to the principles and visions of YLF.
Being aware that this kind of spirit is extremely rare and precious I decided to become a part of this extraordinary "family". During my stay here all the members of YLF made obvious to me that humanity can be so much more than a word being preached.
I strongly belief that the crossing of national and cultural borders is a perfect tool for passing and finally overcomming the borders and prejudices within the mind. So I can absolutely recommend to anybody who has the desire to broaden his or her personal horizon and who wishes to get access to a new refreshing and enlightening spring of insights and ideas to consider a stay in Ghana with YLF.
Just like Selma Elsaesser I am happy to receive and to answer all the questions coming to your mind if you should toy with the idea of volunteering in Ghana. Also questions about YLF in gerneral are absolutely welcome! Beside a contact partner for potential voluteers I function as the Director of YLF's sister-NGO "YGRO GHANA". Email: p_licht@gmx.net

Miss Grace Katherine Milas Miss Grace Katherine Milas
Miss Grace Katherine Milas finished College at The Sixth Form College, Farnborough and started her degree in Graphic Design at the University of Portsmouth. She decided to take a gap year because poverty is a topic very close to her heart, mainly influenced by the video clips she had watched on Comic Relief from a very young age. Therefore for many years she has been determined to make a change to the lives of some of these children. She came as a volunteer and finally felt she should be part of this lovely humanitarian organization. Personally, she felt children in the Saint Germain School, as of current had nowhere to release their energy or develop their sporting skills. She helped to purchase land for establishment of the foundation’s football club; and she also bought football kits including jerseys, football boots, and balls through donations from donors in the UK, to alleviate the plights of children living in abject poverty. She finally made her way into the board of trustees to make decisions for positive progress. She is currently a UK based member who tries to extend the mission of the foundation in the UK.
